HOW CAN I CHOOSE THE RIGHT MAKEUP PRODUCT?

So, when we purchase a new makeup product, it becomes very important to identify that the product is doing a good job or not on your skin. Let's talk about how you can identify if the product is good or not and how is the quality of that product.

1. PRIMER:       

A good primer will blur your pores and smoothens the skin. It also reduces appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

2. FOUNDATION AND CONCEALER:

A good foundation blends easily and gives you coverage. It should not oxidize on your face. It should not transfer from one place to another if you are wearing it for a longer period of time. The same applies to the concealer.

3. POWDERED PRODUCTS:

Powdered products (Compact powder, bronzer, contour, blush, highlighter, etc) should have smaller particle size. Because, if the particles are larger in size, it will be clearly visible on your skin and you may face problems while applying the product.

4. EYESHADOW:

An eyeshadow colour is good if it is highly pigmented, blends easily, have very less or no fallout, does not irritate your eyes.

5. MASCARA, EYELINER, KAJAL:

The product should be pigmented. It should not irritate your eyes. Should not be very thick or thin (eyeliner and mascara). Should not transfer from one place to another. Kajal should be smudge proof.

6. LIPSTICK:

A good lipstick is easy to apply. It does not dry your lips. It is transfer proof and stays in place for a longer period of time

7. MAKEUP FIXER:

It should produce fine mist and fix your makeup in place for a longer period of time.

8. MAKEUP REMOVER:

It should remove all your makeup easily and should not burn or irritate the skin.

Any makeup product should not cause any irritation or inflammation to the skin.
